My hubby’s birthday is this Wednesday and one of his BFF’s is just 4 days before his, AND he’s about to become a dad for the first time, which we are pretty darn excited about. We got to go have a little combined birthday lunch this past weekend (no kids! well, except for my littlest lady, but she just lays there looking adorable instead of trying to make a mosaic with french fries and ketchup on the floor) and gave him a new dad hospital survival kit to help get him through the labor.
My husband likes to read and play on his tablet while I’m zoning out during contractions until I need him once I’m coming in to the home stretch. 🙂 So I found this book entitled “Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads” and it is so funny. It shares helpful information in a humorous way, I totally wish I had found it when my husband was becoming a dad for the first time. And I just found out that if you buy it on Amazon you’ll only spend about half what I did. You’re welcome.
I included a drink and a snack to help stave off the munchies, and a Seegar for when the baby makes his debut.
Lastly, I included some change, which can be used in vending machines or name coin tosses. 🙂
