I am not the biggest fan of pie in the world, but have you heard of a pumpple cake yet? I pinned |this| a awhile ago and when I finally made it a few years back I thought maybe I’d been to harsh to pie. After all, if you’ve got a good crust then a pie can be a delicious treat that perfectly ends a meal. My favorites tend to either be something with chocolate (I’m looking at you chocolate pecan pie) or a gooey sweet fruit pie, like a good apple (with crumb topping of course!) or peach.
By the way, let’s add pumpple to the list of unappetizing dessert names, along with Dump Cake and Poke Cake. I mean, who is coming up with the names of these delicious desserts?!
Anyway, I digress, what I’m trying to say is this–there are some pies that are amazing and delicious. And since this is the season for pies (whether you think you like them or not), I thought I’d share a roundup of pies to make for Thanksgiving, or really any time of year! So if you haven’t decided what to make for dessert yet keep reading, I promise you’ll find a pie to please anyone’s taste buds.
