I love crafts that are simple because it makes it easier to get them done during one nap time rather than stringing it out over several days or even a week. This project is certainly simple, less than 5 minutes total, and you might already have everything you need at home! This was my inspiration:
I had to purchase some trim and some mini clothespins, because I only had about 6 multicolored ones in my scrapbooking stash. The cost came to about $5. By the way, if you have a Ben Franklin Crafts by you, I found out at my location that the last Wednesday of each month is bag day, you get 20% off your total purchase if you have one of their reusable bags, awesome! Check out yours to see if it participates in that promotion!
Frame, scissors, staple gun, ribbon of choice, and mini clothespins or paper clips.
See, I didn’t even bother actually measuring between stapled ribbon lengths, I just used my staple gun to approximate spacing. If I had bothered to actually measure than that might have added another minute. And yes, I used the trunk of my Xterra as my table because my craft table was covered in stuff and it would have taken even more time to clean it off, this was much faster. 🙂

I took down a large wedding portrait in a spot that we walk by all the time and replaced it with this for the Christmas season. I can’t wait to get more cards to fill it up!
