‘a long road’ portable car mat

Table of Contents

I made another portable car mat for one of my son’s friends. I wanted to try a little something different though and was inspired by some different pins on Pinterest of roads drawn onto paper or made with maskign tape, then placed over stairs for the cars to drive up “mountains” (of course, I never pinned them and now when I search I can’t find them, bummer). I thought, “what I good idea because kids are always creating bridges, tunnels, etc., for their cars to drive on/through”. So I thought is would be fun to just created a long road that could either be rolled out flat,  or on stairs or furniture to create treacherous mountain roads or precarious bridges for the truly daring driver to traverse. 🙂

So cute! I love it. Do the cars just tuck in so that you can roll it all up?

Exactly, this particular one has two little spots for the car to "park" in. You just slip the car into the pocket and it sticks out about 1/3 of the way or so. If you check out my other car mats (links above), this one works the same way. 🙂

Yes, It's really nice mat. It is like a little run way for cars and cars are running on this mat. It is very good game for children because it is portable and not easy to use.

It's so wonderful to see like a real road and it is a very nice design for playing children. It is also a great road mat for gifting any child on their birthday or any festival.
