frozen strawberry lemonade

School’s out, temperatures are creeping up, and although the first day of Summer isn’t technically until this Friday I’m just gonna say it now-Summer’s here! Whoop whoop!
Today I have a delicious and easy Summer time treat that’s perfect to help keep you cool, even on the most sweltering days.

All it takes to makes this yummy frozen strawberry lemonade is 3 ingredients blended together:
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 cup of lemonade or pink lemonade Crystal Lite (lemonade will be a little more tart than pink lemonade)

This makes about enough for two servings, so you’ll probably want to double or triple the recipe, because everyone will want some! What’s great about this is that since you’re using Crystal Lite and you’re not adding any sugar, it’s really much better for you than the frozen lemonade you buy at amusements parks or fairs. The bad thing about this frozen treat is that knowing how easy and inexpensive it is to make yourself, you’ll think twice before buying it during your family’s next vacation.

Enjoy!

Looks tasty, it's still too cold here in WI for summer drinks, but this will be perfect for the inevitable humid days ahead of us
