metal stamped initial necklace

Table of Contents

I made an initial metal stamped charm last week for a friend’s birthday present, and can I just say, I was a little jealous? I’m a fairly simple girl when it comes to jewelry so I pretty much rotate between 2 necklaces, so it doesn’t make sense for me to make one for myself, buuuutttttt…

If you haven’t tried metal stamping yet, it’s pretty easy, but you are going to need to buy some tools to start with: a steel block, letter stamps, and a hammer (I just use my regular construction hammer). Plus of course, whatever you’re going to be metal stamping. You can buy all these materials at your local Hobby Lobby, although my letters I did buy off the Internet. Other stores sell metal stamping supplies as well, but Hobby Lobby was my only local store where I was able to find all the supplies I wanted in one place. 🙂
