Ah, Christmastime, the time of year when you scurry around like a crazy person trying to find that perfect balance of gift giving. You want your kids to be excited, be surprised, but also be grateful and not too expect too much. And then there are the stocking stuffers, le sigh. Sometimes it can be hard trying to think of stocking stuffers for a kid that can’t even talk yet. And you don’t really want to just leave the stocking empty because even though your baby or toddler might be too young to realize they’re missing out, it just seems like kind of a Scrooge thing to do, don’t you think? I’m really not a fan of just giving kids cheap stuff that will break or get thrown out within a matter of weeks (don’t get me started on how I feel about birthday party loot bags…), or just filling the whole stocking with candy, so I’ve pulled together a list of items that make good stocking stuffers, or even Easter basket fillers come Springtime. Several of these I’ve used in the past or will be using this year, and many of them are inexpensive too. Some links contain affiliates, as always, all opinions are my own.

Great list of ideas!
This is such a great list. I might have to get a thing or two for a friend
These are great ideas! Bath crayons may need to go in ours – I think my kids would love those!

Great list. I love how creative and inexpensive they all are!
Thanks Natalie! I think a lot of times with young kids simple is best and sometimes as parents we overthink things.
Great ideas! I love putting a new battery operated toothbrush in my boys’ stockings.
