muslin swaddling blankets
I love to swaddle my babies right from the beginning and muslin blankets are my favorite because they are lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and much bigger than the flannel swaddling blankets. Plus, they can easily double as a nursing cover or tummy time mat. Aden & Anais make some of my favorite ones, but I’m also a fan of purchasing muslin blankets from small shops and there are lots of cute ones out there!
huggies little swaddlers diapers
Huggies are my favorite for little newborns, they seem to fit my babies the best, hold the most, and you’ve got to love the little color-change strip in the front, huh? I know everybody is going to have a difference favorite diaper brand, but I’ve been disappointed every time I’ve tried a different brand.
a great diaper bag
Over the years I have learned that having a quality diaper bag is worth the money to me. Having a bag that holds up to daily wear and tear AND looks gorgeous is on my list of must haves and so far I’ve been really happy with two brands: Timi + Leslie, and Lily Jade. I love that they look like beautiful purses, but have all the conveniences of a traditional diaper bag.
puj tub
nose frida
This has been such a game-changer for stuffy baby noses! I had heard so many good things about the Nose Frida and I can see why. I love that it’s so efficient and so easy to clean, I much prefer it over a traditional nasal aspirator.
side-snap onesies and shirts
These are my absolute favorite to dress teeny new babies in. Not only do the side snaps make it so convenient for diaper changes and quick changes after projectile vomit and pooplosions, but they’re also handy to use until the umbilical cord stump falls off.
shopping cart hammock
The shopping cart hammock from Binxy Baby is definitely a game changer when it comes to shopping with your little ones! It keeps your little one (up to 50 pounds) safe and secure while also keeping your cart space free for all the items you’re shopping for. So genius and something that I think you could benefit from if you have one kid or five.
baby leg warmers
I make them for my kiddos myself and you can find some in my shop, but there are also plenty of options in stores and online. Not only are they sooooo cute, but much like the side-snap shirts, they are really convenient for diaper changes, and also when baby starts crawling to help protect their little knees.
mamaroo
I’ve never had a traditional baby swing but I love our Mamaroo infant seat. Basically, I just think that it’s important to have a great spot that you can sit your little one in when you need a break or your baby needs a change of scenery. My kiddos have loved the Mamaroo for sleeping and just for lounging in, and I like that it’s compact and plugs into the wall rather than running off a battery.
mommy jewelry
Technically this isn’t a baby item, it’s a mommy item, but I love having my special birthstone jewelry for all my babies. Whether you pick a simple birthstone stack like the ones I have from Everly Rings or pick out some personalized pendants from another company, it’s fun to wear a little reminder of your kiddos (you know, something shinier than spit up on your shirt).
What are some of your favorite baby items?
