I am finally getting around to sharing the wonderful birthday party that my sweet friend Nicole threw for me.
Yes, it was over a month ago. I’ve been busy, all right??
But I had to be sure to share all the little details with you because I think they are so much fun and I know someone else out there who loves soda like I do will appreciate this shindig and all its associated cuteness. We received free product as part of a collaboration with SimplePress, all opinions are completely my own.
It was a pretty simple and small affair, but Nicole still went all out with all the cute soda-themed details; she might have been a little inspired by my shirt, wink wink. Nicole also contacted my friend Rebecca from SimplePress Design and had her create some printables that were just perfect for the occasion! It really pays to have sweet and talented friends.
Apparently Nicole really knows the way to my heart because we had chocolate coke cupcakes and a make your own soda bar, which I now think every party should have. She even had soda water in case anyone wanted to make an Italian soda, you know, in case there’s some crazy out there who doesn’t like Diet Coke.
In case you were wondering, I pretty much enjoyed every combo available to me that night: coconut and cream, blackberry, cherry vanilla, and every variation thereof. Y’all know I love my soda mix-ins so it was pretty much the perfect girl’s night in for me.
And yes, I totally stuck a couple of the leftover straws with those adorable “Cheers” and “Sip Sip Hooray” flags that SimplePress created into my purse and smuggled them home. I mean, how could I not? They are so darling!
And in true Justine fashion, I totally sucked at taking pictures at the party. I wanted to get a cute picture of me and some cute pictures with my friends, but this is all I got, yo. I blame nighttime indoor lighting.
Can we just have beautiful, natural lighting all the time, please? Sincerely, the bloggers of the world.
And if SimplePress sounds familiar to you, yes, they are the wonderful company that took care of my big re-brand and switch over to WordPress back in Spring. They really do it all from invitations to websites so if you’re in need of a designer for anything, do yourself a favor and contact them first! You can follow along with them on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you love diet soda? If your answer is below a 7 we can no longer be friends. Just kidding!!
