As Halloween creeps closer and closer my kids get more and more excited. It probably doesn’t help that I feed into it with festive decorations, fun food, and themed books the second October hits. Okay, usually a little earlier. Today I wanted to share some of our favorite fall books for little ones! Links contain Amazon affiliates. our favorite fall books for kidsÂ
I like to pull out our Fall books for easy access near the end of September, then switch them out the day after Thanksgiving for our Christmas batch. It’s sweet to see my kids–even the big kids–get so excited about curling up with their favorite fall books year after year. And I love re-reading our favorites to them again too! There are so many great books for this time of year, but here are some of our favorite ones.

We love books and pulling out our seasonal ones! All of the ones you listed are great. Mason is into chapter books now.
That is awesome! Have you guys read the “How To Train Your Dragon” books? My husband is reading those to our son and he loves them!
My littles love seasonal books. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thank you Mindy!
As a pre-k teacher, I love our autumn book selections! “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” is one of our classroom favorites!
Yes! Another one we love!
Love this list! Kid books are the best!
Aren’t they though?!
Oh wow, I don’t have kids and am drawing a huge blank on Fall books. I do remember seriously enjoying Halloween town and hocus pocus on Disney channel lol
I love Hocus Pocus!! I haven’t seen it in a few years because my husband does not feel the same way, lol.
I remember all of the great Halloween books there were when I was younger. This looks like such a great list! I used to read the Berenstein Bears all the time.
Yes, I loved the Berenstein Bears as a kid, so fun to share them with my own kids now!
Oh my goodness I remember reading some of these books as a kid! they are fantastic!
I always loved curious George growing up! Turkey Claus sounds like a cute one 🙂

It’s such a fun thing to blog about! Kid’s books are fun, Fall is fun, win-win! 🙂
I love anything Charlie Brown or Curious George, especially during this time of the year! I have not heard of any others, but they sound cute!
I agree, Charlie Brown and Curious George are so fun!
This is so fun! I started checking out Halloween books from our library last week, even though my son would much rather crawl around then sit and read a book with mama!
Haha, I used to feel like there was something wrong with my kids because they wouldn’t sit still for books, but it was just a stage. 😉
so many good rec’s! picking up a few.
Good, hope you like them. 🙂
We love new books!! Thanks for the list mama!
Thanks! Glad you like them!
Now I need to go to the library and look for these! They all look so cute and my son is in such a reading phase right now 🙂 thanks for sharing!
They are really fun ones to read together!
