time is precious with JORD

It’s true, I love buying presents for people. I love trying to think of the perfect gift for each person, something that is both unique and meaningful. Now, obviously there is an element of stress to this as well; I mean, some people are just so darn difficult to shop for. Links contain affiliates, all opinions are my own. Thank you to the wonderful people at JORD for sponsoring this post.

That’s why when I heard that JORD was now offering wood engraving I was so excited! If you’ve been following my blog for awhile then you know how much I love JORD, but now they make an even more thoughtful and unique gift with the wood engraving they offer. Almost instantly I knew a very special loved one to whom I wanted to give this gorgeous engraved gift.

For my watch engraving I chose a scripture from the book of Psalms.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” ~Psalms 27:14

I also added a semicolon in front of the scripture; a semicolon is used in writing when an author could have chosen to finish their sentence. They could have chosen to end their story but instead they decided to keep going, they decided they had more story to share, that they had something more to give. If you’re not familiar with Project Semicolon it’s a non-profit organization whose aim is to provide support and love for those who are suffering from mental illness, addiction, suicide, and self-injury. When I think back to that day all those years ago when this affected someone close to me it all kind of seems like a blur, like it happened to someone else. Especially when I look at how far that person has come today and how beautiful their story continues to be. This year I wanted to give them something that would be a daily reminder of how far they’ve come and that they’re not alone in their journey.

There are five different watch styles that can be engraved (the Fieldcrest, Reece, Frankie, Frankie35, and Conway styles) or you can opt to have the cedar box engraved (with up to 100 characters!). I chose to have my special message engraved on the Frankie 35 watch in dark sandlewood and slate and I love how simple yet gorgeous it is. Whether you choose to engrave the box or the watch, buying from JORD really does offer the perfect unique and meaningful present for anyone special on your list. Please note that engraving does add up to seven additional days on your order so plan accordingly; there are only a few more weeks until Christmas!

Today my friends at JORD have a special offer for you, and pay attention because they won’t be having any more sales this year so, if you’ve been waiting to buy, now is the time. If you enter in your email on the form below you will instantly be sent a $25 gift code to use towards the meaningful JORD watch of your choice. You can also head over to my Instagram for an extra special gift for one of my followers (but first, enter your email below)!
