Sweet Sunrise Smoothie, recipe, fruit, breakfast

One thing I’ve noticed lately is that I have been taking crap care of myself, to be frank.

Okay, honestly, I haven’t just noticed this lately. I have known for awhile that I need to step up my self-care game so one way I decided to work on that first is where my eating habits are concerned.  Most mornings I’m just not that hungry when I first wake up; then sometimes it’s already time for dinner by the time my day slows down enough to actually remember that I still need to eat. Oops.

So, recently I’ve decided to start making smoothies again to help get lots of good stuff in my body. I used to make smoothies quite often, but just fell out of the habit and stopped buying ingredients for smoothie goodness. I was sent a free sample of Burt’s Bees Protein Powder from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Links contain affiliates, all opinions are completely my own.

That’s why I was so excited when Influenster sent me a sample of Burt’s Bees Protein Powder to try out! I knew it was fate, wink wink,  so on a recent shopping trip I picked up lots of delicious and good-for-momma ingredients to try out with my new protein powder. If you don’t have the Burt’s Bees brand available any of your favorite protein powders will work great, but I was quite pleased with the taste of the Burt’s Bees Protein Powder, it added a really nice vanilla flavor to my smoothie.

If you’re like me then you’ll probably have some little helpers who can’t wait to try it out. Luckily this recipe makes more than enough for two adults, or one adult and three little helpers, plus some extra. I was a little afraid that the light green color would turn my kids off, but they totally went for it and drank it all up, I call that a mom win!

This looks delicious! I’m pretty much on the same wave as you… I am now 100% coffee in the morning versus healthier choices, and smoothies are something that are so easy and sooooo much better for you. I’m going to try this one out tomorrow in place of my morning java, and see how I feel 🙂

This sounds absolutely tasty! I definitely need to work on my morning routine and adding in a smoothie would probably be a good choice! <3

Looks yummy! I love making smoothies but don’t make them a lot when it’s cold outside because then I get colder than I already am. But smoothie season is coming! I am horrible though at making sure I eat a decent breakfast and lunch. I’m always getting the kids their food first and don’t take the time to feed myself. I need to be better!

Sounds delish! I used to love putting yogurt in my smoothies before going dairy free. It’s a toss up between yogurt & cheese for what I miss most. 😂 Great recipe!
