Happy May 1st friends! I am excited for May because I always feel like it brings with it the unofficial start of summer, plus two of my babies have birthdays this month, so yay! However, I’m also kind of in awe that it’s May already, what the what?! The first Monday of the month always brings with it another monthly recap. Today I’m sharing our April in numbers and talking all things Easter.
April in numbers
I love recapping my month in this fun little way and I’m so thankful to Deena from Shoes to Shiraz for always being such a great hostess. I thought it would be fun today to recap Easter since it was a kind of a whirlwind day and I don’t want to forget it. As always, here’s a nice little infographic, this time with some Easter-inspired pastels of course!

I should let you know right off the bat that the hubby and I share an Easter basket. Does anyone else get their own Easter basket, or do you just do them for the kiddos? I never thought it was weird that we get one too, but now I’m starting to wonder. Anyway, this year ours just had some candy and a new letterboard from Letterfolk.

All in all it was a great Easter Sunday. We had baskets, we had egg hunts, we had candy and yummy food and it was just generally a great day. Minus the rain that rolled in the second the egg hunt ended and ruined my plans for a family picture. Usually I go into detail about all the numbers in my infographic, but they’re fairly self-explanatory this month. I should admit that the pieces of candy consumed is purely a guess, and probably not a very good one. In fact, it’s probably grossly over exaggerated. I mean, I don’t even think I bought that much candy. And does anyone color-coordinate their kids’ eggs so they all find the same amount? I feel like such a mom as I sit there counting out all the eggs and assigning each kid a color. #momlife
What was the highlight of your Easter?

I know I love May… I live in NY and have beach and warm weather on the brain! I hope you really didnt eat that much candy! LOL! Easter feels so long ago, no?
Not really that much, but it sure feels like it! It definitely feels like it was already so long ago!
How fun to have all the numbers! I’m afraid what our candy number would be this month… 🙂
Right?! It’s been bad around here, ugh.
I love your graphics…and I think I did eat that much candy, haha! Now to lose the weight I gained, hehe.
Thanks so much! And I totally hear ya Sarah! Ugh, I have felt gross ever since Easter!
I do the egg thing. And I feel SO bad b/c we went to an egg hunt and Avery thought that she could only get pink ones and ended up with barely any. :/
Oh no! That’s a bummer. We haven’t even gone to community egg hunts the last couple years because all the parents at them always seem so crazy competitive about how many eggs their kids get, I don’t understand it!
We used to get each other baskets when it was just my husband and I, and now we just get the kids baskets. I’d love mine own thought (candy!). I’m so jealous you got a Letterfolk board! I want one so bad!
They are lots of fun! I have two now and I love them both. They’re so well made too, and I love that they’re made in the US! 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever done an Easter basket for my husband and I and now I’m wondering why they heck not! Next year I’m doing it! And yay for letterboards! I’m loving mine, although I need to change up what’s on it.
I am loving having two now, not going to lie. 😉 And yes, you should totally do an Easter basket for you guys next year!
How much fun!! I ate and have been eating, too much candy. 😉
Oh my goodness, it just needs to stop. I feel like ever since Easter I just haven’t even been hungry because I’ve been eating so much crap. 🙁
bahahahahah “2” much food eaten. Love it. I look forward to your graphics every month. Thanks for linking up!
Aww, thank you so much! It’s such a fun link up to take part in!
