Happy Monday everyone! As we look back over the past year and we look forward towards the year ahead, nostalgia seems to be a common theme. There are many movies for me that hold a special, nostalgic meaning. The Princess Bride is one of those movies. Have you seen it? Today I’m sharing some printable quotes from the movie The Princess Bride. Let me know which one is your favorite!
There are so many great quotes in this movie. Some that are thought-provoking, some that are just hilarious. I definitely can’t narrow it down to just one favorite, but here are four quotes from The Princess Bride that I particularly love! They’re perfect for printing up for your home or office space. Wouldn’t you just love to share the “Inigo Montoya” quote with some of your co-workers?!
Nostalgia: a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
You could even print the quotes up smaller and use them as homemade cards or frame and give as gifts to friends!

The Princess Bride and printable quotes
The Princess Bride was released in 1987 when I was just two years old. So I grew up right along with Buttercup and remember watching her and the Dread Pirate Roberts (who was actually her sweet Westley!) fight the R.O.U.S.’s in the fire swamp over and over. Good times.

I love the development and the backstory of the characters. There are some characters that you think are antagonists near the beginning that turn out to be such good guys. I love that it has romance, action, comedy, and of course, lots of great lines.
Have you seen The Princess Bride? What’s your favorite line?
What’s your favorite nostalgic movie?

I’ve been blogging since I was 14 and I’m 34 now and I was so obsessed with Princess Bride, I had a website layout with the quote “as you wish”
Haha 🙂 Young me was silly. Older me still silly.
I have never seen princess bride. I will have to google it and see if it is something I might be interested in. But super cute printable!
So many good quotes from that cult classic! I first watched it in middle school and have seen it countless times since!
Yes! This is such a great movie. The line that comes to my mind is “My name is Inigo Montya. You killed my father. Prepare to die”. I always think of this when I kill a spider. I think that the spiders son is going to come avenge his father’s death. Strange, I know. 🙂
I use to LOVE Princess bride when I was little. Such a good movie and I love these quotes!
How cute! We do family movie night every monday!
I love all of these printables! They are so fun- I want to frame some in my stairway =)

Seriously I love this movie so much! As far as choosing favorite quotes from the movie, there are WAY too many! And it still makes me laugh that we chose the same movie. Great minds think alike! 😉

I know (hiding my head in shame…)
awe these are adorable little printables

I really recommend it Sandra, it’s a pretty cute movie! Our whole family loves it. 🙂
I’ve never seen Princess Bride. I may have to 🙂
It’s such a cute movie, I definitely recommend giving it a try!
It seems most of the responses are from the female gender, which would lead some to believe the movie is not appealing to the male of the species. That could not be farther from the truth. Our entire family love this movie (and quote it way too often). I also have many coworkers (office setting) that will chime in with quotes at appropriate (or inappropriate) times, which will always lighten the mood.
Absolutely Jeff, my husband LOVES this movie!! He’s actually the one that bought it for us, he was so excited when he found it in the store one day. 🙂 Thanks for reading!!
