Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today seemed like the perfect day to announce another round of the Mom Love Fellowship! You might remember that I first introduced this swap last year around this same time. Then I brought it back for a summer edition. By organizing this fellowship twice now I’ve learned a few things, but mostly what I’ve learned is how much we all need each other. Sometimes a little bit of encouragement (or a small piece of happy mail) is all we need to turn our day around. So I hope that you’ll join with me for this edition!
details of the mom love fellowship
If you don’t have a blog don’t worry, we still want you to join us! Also, if you don’t yet have children of your own that’s okay. First time moms, seasoned moms, moms-to-be, those hoping to become mothers… you’re all welcome to participate in this fellowship with us. Basically, if you have the heart of a mother and a love for sisterhood, community, and happy mail, this swap is for you! In addition to making a new mom friend, you will also get a little happy mail in your inbox from me each month during the fellowship to help remind you to stay on track and to stay positive! Read the guidelines below to see if this is a good fit for you. Spoiler alert–it is:
- Mail an encouraging, uplifting, or just humorous note, card, or letter to your partner TWICE a month for March, April, and May. Please use #MomLoveFellowship when posting to social media so we can find each other!
- In addition to the notes you send, please mail your partner a small gift(s) you think they’ll like at some point during the fellowship, the total cost of which should be no more than $20 (before shipping). Please make sure that the gift(s) will arrive by Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 13).
- Enjoy the new momma friendship that you’ve formed with your online friend!
Make sure you’re following along on Instagram!

What great fun and support for each other. Love this.
this is a good idea. We always need a encouraging word.
This is a great idea! 🙂 we moms need all the support and friendship we can get!
Oh my gosh what a great idea! It can be so lonely as you grow up and don’t have the same opportunity to meet and make friends with people who have your interests.
I love this idea so much! I signed up right away!
What a kind and thoughtful idea! Love it!
What a great idea!! I love it so much! I LOVE getting personal snail mail!
This is such a great idea! Even if you have friends close by, it’s so easy to lose touch once you have kids. A mom fellowship would make those lonely days so much better!
I love this and will have to think about signing up! I am not a mom yet but being an only child I need all the help I can get and the time is coming quickly (well in the next couple of years 🙂 )
This sound like such a great idea! I’m not a mommy yet, but is definitely something I would be interested in one day!
This is such a wonderful idea! The world needs a little more love out there
What a neat idea! When i become a mum (hopefully someday soon) I would be so keen to participate!

Awe that sounds like so much fun!
What a sweet idea! It’s always nice to connect with someone who knows the ins and outs of mamahood!
Wow – what a great way to support each other.
This is such a great idea! Getting a piece of mail that isn’t a bill is always wonderful!
Super cool idea. Love it!
I’ve loved participating in the last two rounds! It’s been such a great opportunity to connect with other moms/women around the country and get to know them and find things in common. I really want to join in this time, but will probably sit it out considering life is going to get a little extra crazy around here soon. But if you are doing another one in the summer, you can count me in!
This is such a sweet idea!
This is so awesome – what a great idea! I’m so nervous to become a mom and change our lives so drastically, even though I know it will be an incredible adventure in our lives – but something like this makes it so much easier!
this is such a fun idea!
