I’ve decided to do something a little different and shop small this Easter. I’m going to try to fill our baskets with special and unique items from small shops. I love supporting others in their endeavors and I love giving gifts that are meaningful and unique. So today I’ve compiled a list of items from small shops and companies that give back that will be making an appearance at our house on Easter morning, I’m so excited for my little ones to see their baskets filled with these goodies! This post is part of a collaboration with Little Adventures Dress Ups and contains affiliate links, all opinions are completely my own.

little adventures dress ups

I first bought my daughters some outfits from Little Adventures Dress Ups for Christmas and couldn’t wait to get some more to fill their Easter baskets. My girls love playing dress up and with the beautiful dresses from Little Adventures I don’t have to worry about them ruining them while they’re playing. So easy to wash and amazingly comfortable, they’re the play clothes that every little girl (and mom) dreams of! If you’re a fan of Little Adventures Dress Ups then be sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post for a special surprise! Use LittleDove15% for a discount!

camp castle playmats

If you haven’t heard of Camp Castle Playmats yet you’re missing out because they are seriously adorable! I purchased a four pack of their mini mats which will be just perfect for their baskets and perfect for playing with on the go. Covered with bright and fun graphics and easy to wipe clean, they’re perfect for any little one this Easter! cuddle + kind

What’s better than adorable, hand-knit dolls? Dolls that give back. Cuddle + Kind was created by a husband and wife team who are on a mission to provide one million meals to those in need a year, so for every doll you purchase you help provide 10 meals, how amazing is that?!  They also provide jobs to artisans in Peru and provide them with fair wages. That’s a company I’m proud to support, plus I know my girls are going to fight over this adorable mermaid doll.

baby lit

Some of my favorite board books around, Baby Lit features fun illustrations to introduce your little ones to some of your favorite literary classics. I have a slight obsession with collecting my favorite stories and I love seeing them fill their bookshelves. It’s always fun to add another to their growing library!

latter-day baby

For my LDS readers I have to share this great company that I came across on Instagram. Latter Day Baby brings together simple board book design with minimal words and fun pictures to help teach your little ones the gospel. I ordered Joseph Smith History and Book of Mormon Characters for my littlest one, but they also currently have one that features Temples Around the World.

the belle and the beau

The Belle and the Beau is a company I first discovered when I was looking for matching father and son ties for my guys several years ago. With quality ties in various bright and gorgeous patterns your bound to find just what you’re looking for. They’re now my go-to shop when I want the handsome men in my life to match and I can’t wait to see them twinning in these ties!

partake foods

I was sent some cookies from Partake Foods a little while ago and was so impressed with the flavor! These are perfect if you have family members who have food allergies because their goodies are free from the top eight common food allergens. So if you struggle with finding tasty treats that your little one can eat then consider filling their Easter basket with these!

tony’s chocolonely

A friend of mine introduced me to Tony’s Chocolonely a couple weeks ago and I quickly fell in love with both the taste and the mission statement. 60% of all cocoa is produced in West Africa, much of it being farmed by child and slave labor. This company is on a mission to make all chocolate in the world slave free, how sweet is that?

This is such a great post! I know I’m guilty of sometimes waiting until the last minute and just hitting up Walmart or Dollar Tree for Easter, but I love the idea of shopping small businesses for Easter baskets! I also entered the giveaway!

We don’t celebrate Easter, nor do we have little ones, but I love that you were able to make baskets that weren’t just about the candy!

I don’t shop for Easter (aside from brunch ingredients!) but will pass this on to my friends that do. Thanks for sharing!

What a fabulous post to support such worthy small shops. They all seem to have wonderful products for children over the Easter period. I know I will be checking these out to see what we can do to support them also.

Awww, such cute things! I no longer have little ones as my kids are teenagers. It was always fun making Easter baskets for them and I really miss doing it.

I’ll definitely start shipping small more. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it for Easter.

I do not have a favorite small shop. You have some cute ideas. I would like to pick up and new dress for my daughter. Chocolate is a must for Easter and a great quality piece is all the better.
