If your kids are anything like mine then they’ve probably requested several electronic toys for Christmas. A whole lot. It seems like every year they’re asking my husband and I for some new gadget. Something that not only lights up and makes noise, but requires us to feed it batteries to do so. Christmas morning and batteries have gone hand-in-hand since the dawn of time, haven’t they? Or at least since the dawn of electronics that take batteries. So now not only do you have to worry about finding that perfect electronic gift, but make sure you’re well supplied with batteries for Christmas morning. Well, you’re in luck because today I can help you with both of those things with these educational electronic gifts! This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser.  As a homeschool mom I’m a big fan of putting an educational spin on anything I can. Gift giving is no different. With so many electronic gadgets and gizmos on the market it can be hard to weed through all the products and find the quality items. As I’ve mentioned before, my goal is always to have my kids learning but not necessarily have them realize it. Today I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite educational electronic gifts, some of which are even under our tree right now. There’s sure to be something on this list that your little learner will love!

Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Tablet
My littlest one will be getting this under the tree this year. I know the three different levels of play will grow with her for awhile. I’ve already picked up some Energizer® Ultimate Lithiumâ„¢ batteries so I can let her play without worrying about leaks and corrosion while she learns and plays!
LeapStart 3D Interactive Learning system
I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many books. This learning system takes it a step further with fun activities that cover reading, writing, math, and science. This is a great learning tool for kids in preschool through first grade.
Think & Learn Code-a-pillar
This fun and easy coding toy is the perfect gift for your budding preschool engineer. They can plan out new paths for their Code-a-pillar to take and you can watch as they develop critical thinking skills through play. It takes 4 AA batteries though so be prepared on Christmas morning with some Energizer® MAX Batteries.
SC-100 Electronics Exploration Kit
We got this STEM toy for my son for his birthday last year and he continues to have fun making new projects with it. This is a fun project to work on together a few times until your kids get the hang of it. Then it’s easy for them to master new challenges on their own!
Write & Learn Creative Center
This toy is a great learning tool to help little learners master their letters! I can’t wait for my four year old to open this up on Christmas morning. With Energizer® MAX AA batteries I know she’ll be able to keep learning and playing for a long time.
Botley the Coding Robot
This Toy of the Year finalist STEM toy can teach kids as young as 5 how to code while using critical thinking and problem solving skills. Botley’s advanced and hidden features that you can unlock will grow with your child. They’ll be interested in this toy for years to come!
Motor-Works Science Kit
What kid isn’t obsessed with how things work? This is a fun toy that allows your child to build their own 4-cylinder engine and watch how it works. The kit contains over 100 parts and is best for kids age 8-15; don’t forget the Energizer® MAX batteries and screwdriver for assembly!
Tin Can Cable Car
This fun kit not only teaches about the science of mechanical engineering but about recycling too! Little inventors will get to build a functioning motor. Then they can watch their creation make its ascent in their bedroom or wherever they decide to construct it.
Augmented Reality Based Globe
This globe uses a companion app so you can use it to search for landmarks, learn fun facts, and play games. Not only is this a fun learning tool but it would be a great addition to any homeschool classroom too!
Energizer® Headlights
I know that headlights might seem like a weird gift, but these are a great option for a stocking stuffer! Because Energizer® has the most lightweight and versatile lighting products they’re perfect for late-night reading in bed for your eager bookworms or camping trips with the boys for your spouse

I would have loved some of these gifts growing up and batteries are always needed
My daughter plays with a lot of leap frog toys that were my sons but I def need to buy her some new, updated ones. Which one do you think would be best for a three year old?
These are great ideas for my toddler ! She’d love them
I always stock up on batteries before the holidays!
These are great options. I love gifts that are both fun and educational!
I want to get all of the toys you mentioned, but since my littles are still too young for some of them I will restrain myself. But I’m saving this for ideas as they get older. For Christmas, my youngest is getting a LeapPad and I’m so excited. My 3-year-old has one and they fight over it all the time since they both love it, so it was time to get a second one! We always make sure we have batteries on hand for the LeapPads and our battery powered trains.
