This post is in collaboration with Feld Entertainment. My family and I have been invited to opening night of Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Production images courtesy of Disney on Ice and Feld Entertainment. All thoughts expressed are my own.
When I was a little girl I was a Jill of all trades, master of none–so to speak. I had a lot of dreams and my parents patiently took me to auditions, riding lessons, ballet, swim practice, etc. One of the dreams I had was to be an ice skater. They were so graceful and strong at the same time! And let’s not lie–their costumes were pretty fantastic. I’d already decided that I needed special colored skates when I went to the Olympics someday. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I didn’t have the grace that those figure skaters I saw on television did. Besides which, with my height it would probably be best for me to find a new dream.
My older kids had been asking me to go ice skating for over a year. The thought of trying to chase all my little hooligans around the ice though sounded like a lot of work. Well, one invite from my friend Ashley was all it took to realize that maybe I’d been stifling my children’s dreams. So when our family got an invite to attend the opening night of Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream I jumped at the chance. Getting a good dose of pixie dust while encouraging my kids to dare to dream is a mom win for sure.
Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream
I’m so excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year as a family at Disney on Ice’s production of Dare to Dream. We love all things Disney so being able to experience some Disney magic without traveling far is always extra special. This will be our family’s first experience at Disney on Ice and it’s also Moana’s big debut in the show! She’ll be trying to save her Island and discover who she is with Maui by her side, just like in the movie.
Moana’s epic quest with the demigod Maui won’t be the only adventure we get to see on the ice though! I can’t wait to see my children’s faces light up as they see all their favorite characters in the spotlight! Well-loved figures from Frozen, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella will all be skating into our hearts and it’s hard to say who my kids will be most excited about! Of course, I’m excited to see Mickey and his pals don their skates as well!
Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream will be coming to Stockton and Sacramento soon. Experience the magic at one of seven shows from February 7-10 at the Stockton Arena. You can even use the code OLAF for 20% off your ticket purchase in Stockton! If you’re closer to Sacramento you can see Moana in her big debut from February 14-18 at the Golden 1 Center during one of her 10 shows at that venue! Tickets start at just $20 but for my Sacramento audience if you use code MOM you can also save 20%!

My girls SO want to go to a Disney on Ice production. We missed it in our town this winter but will be looking for the next show!
It’s been way too long since we went to a Disney on Ice show. My girls LOVED them when they were little.
Oh my goodness, how fun?! Disney on Ice is on our list!
We go to Disney on Ice every year and I am probably more excited about this show than my daughter. I loved Moana!
Your kids are going to have so much fun at Disney on Ice. I remember going to see it when I was a kid and it was so magical!
I’ve never been to a Disney On Ice performance but this sure looks like fun! A great outing for the whole family.
