During the holidays I shared a Nativity Advent coloring sheet that my friend Heidi had helped me with. Of course, by “help” I mean that she was the artistic ability behind it and it was just my idea. Then, at the beginning of the year I started getting an idea to do a similar thing for Easter. Long story, but shortly after I got the idea some really amazing things fell into place. It made me realize I was supposed to be sharing this and had to make it happen. Actually, that has happened to me a lot this year. But I digress… anyway–I am so excited to share this Easter Advent coloring page with you today!

Easter Advent

This Easter Advent covers eight days. It starts on the Sunday before Easter (Palm Sunday) and goes through Easter Sunday. Each day has a corresponding scripture and then you can color in the numbered item for that day! The scripture is not necessarily what happened on that day (as several events occurred on the same days), however all the scriptures do follow a chronological order. You could always come up with your own scripture, song, or activity for each day too! It’s a great thing to do each day with your kids to help remind them that Easter isn’t about finding eggs or chocolate bunnies. Although those things are fun too, wink wink.

I was so excited when Hayley from Camp Castle Play Mats said she would help out with this project! I just love her mats (we own five Camp Castle play mats!) and I knew her art would be perfect for this. She definitely delivered what I had envisioned and I know your little ones will love coloring this Easter Advent.

Again I’ve made it available in letter size as well as 18″ x 24″. You can easily take the file to your local print shop and get an inexpensive engineering print for a couple dollars. We really like having the larger size on display in our home, although the smaller size is nice for taking over to friends and neighbors!
