Recently our family got back from another weekend spent at Tower Park Resort in Lodi, California. This was our third visit in less than a year and it never gets old. The kids talk about it constantly and are always asking to go back. Every time we leave we’re already talking about our next trip. Needless to say, we’re big fans. This time we were able to stay an extra night I’m so glad. I truly don’t think that just two nights is enough, we always felt rushed before trying to fit in all our favorite activities. Here’s why you should consider extending your trip to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park-Tower Park Resort in Lodi, California. If you’re not local keep reading, they have locations all over the country! This post is in collaboration with Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park-Tower Resort in Lodi, California; all opinions are my own.
why you should extend your stay at Tower Park Resort
great offers for extended stays
First of all, I want to make sure you know about all the great offers that Tower Park Resort has on their website. With discounts ranging from 20%-50% off and even free nights you’re sure to find a deal that works for your family. And don’t forget the great offers during the park’s “shoulder season”. We really loved our stay at Tower Park Resort last Fall; the weather was perfection and crowds were much lower.
increased activities scheduled
Unfortunately, there have been some issues with getting the permits approved for the new Water Zone and lazy river. However, the wonderful people at the park want to make sure you still have a great time! With an increase in scheduled activities and extra FREE fun included in your stay like free bumper boat rides and free lazer tag games you’ll need even more time to cross everything off your list! With fun activities and themed weekends there’s tons of fun year round! When we went a couple weeks ago it was Yogi Bear’s birthday week. Our kids enjoyed a parade, face painting, and balloon animals as part of the celebration!
give yourself more time to relax
With Tower Park Resort’s new Delta Deluxe Plus cabins you’ll want to have time to enjoy them. Conveniently located with the best views of the new Water Zone and lazy river (opening date TBD) these sites feature paved patios with plenty of space and private hot tubs! Although lacking the mature trees in other parts of the park (these are brand new sites after all) our family loved the privacy and the use of our very own hot tub at the end of the day!
it’s truly a destination in and of itself
I’ve mentioned that there is a ton to do at the park. We were there for three nights this time and we still felt a little rushed from one fun activity to the next. Jellystone Park-Tower Park Resort is unlike any campground I’ve been to, it really is a resort destination and you could spend days there and never get bored. If you do want to venture out though there are tons of nearby attractions to keep your whole family busy!
