Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books from when you were a kid? You’d read through a story and once you reached a certain point you’d have to make the choice of which way the story would go. Well, when’s the last time your family had a real-life adventure? One where you got to choose your own path? I am so excited to share our family’s experience at Quarry Park Adventures in Rocklin, California with you today! The only difference between it and those books from your youth is that every adventure you choose at Quarry Park Adventures will end in fun! There are so many things to do at Quarry Park Adventures you might have a hard time deciding what to do first. Keep in mind that participants must be at least 45 pounds for most activities. The zip line requires a minimum weight of 70 pounds.

The Aerial Adventure is where my crew headed first. No strangers to ropes courses they were excited to give this one a try! I stayed on the ground with my 3 youngest ones, but my husband and older kids ages 6-10 were able to complete it. It was challenging but they all had a fun time. Note that you can utilize their Personal Guide Service if you or someone in your party would like more assistance.

My kids love zip lines and have done several in their short lifetimes. Unfortunately, this particular zip line had a weight requirement that only allowed my husband to try it out. My kids recovered quickly though (after all, there were so many other things to do!) and my husband said it was the longest zip line he’d ever gone on.

kidz kove

This is where my youngest kids spent the majority of their time at Quarry Park Adventures. Then once my older kids were done in the quarry they joined us and had a blast! Kidz Kove is basically just the biggest ropes course and playground you’ve ever seen. There’s also an entrance to the Miners Maze which is just a really simple little maze that my kids loved running through.
