After sharing our most recent trip this weekend something was confirmed that I had long suspected–y’all are ready to travel again! With cases lowering in most areas and warmer weather around the corner a lot of us are feeling the travel bug. With the hope of new adventures on the horizon and Spring Break coming up I wanted to share a travel gift guide for every age! This post is in collaboration with JetKids. I was sent product in exchange for my honest review, all opinions are my own. Some links contain affiliates.
travel gift guide for kids
JetKids BedBox
Have you heard of JetKids yet? Chances are if you’re following me on Instagram you have! The JetKids BedBox by Stokke makes the most incredible carry-on suitcases for your little travelers! Your child can ride on, carry on, and even sleep on their very own suitcase. As a mom to many little adventurers I can attest that having your hands free from having to carry someone else’s suitcases is almost as much a gift to yourself as it is to your child. My recently-turned 3 year old just received one for her birthday and we’ve already had some adventures with it!
If you have multiple children consider purchasing a Travel Bundle. Complete with a BedBox, Crew Backpack, and Merino Blanket you can split the item between multiple children to get more bang for your buck! YOu can mix and match all their different color options on the JetKids website creating a bundle each of your little travelers will love.
Bucket Journals and Coloring Books
Got an older kid whos starting to think that family trips are so lame? Get them excited about family getaways again with a bucket journal. Part travel bucket list, park travel journal, these journals from My Bucket Journals are full of fun and interesting travel destinations. From State Parks to National Parks and even haunted locations there’s a bucket journal for everybody! If you’re buying for pre-readers then check out the bucket list coloring books.

Campcastle USA playmat
Even if you don’t have any travel plans yet your little adventurer can still explore right in their own room! Campcastle makes playmats and printables in lots of different designs. Your little traveler will love pointing out all the states and capitals on the medium United States mat. Or, if you’re a resident of the Lone Star state check out the mini Texas mat. It’s perfect for tabletop and on the go entertainment. Use code “littledove” for a discount.

Travel Tokens from The Wander Club
Looking for a special way to commemorate your travels? I know, I know, you can only collect so many spoons or thimbles. For the minimalist yet still sentimental traveler check out travel tokens from The Wander Club. Whether you want to collect tokens from National Parks, states, countries, or even continents your loved one will always remember their adventures.
Packing Cubes
Perhaps the most practical gift on this travel gift guide but still a good one. My husband is very frugal so when he says says that he’s “sold” on something he means it. I finally bought packing cubes last year and my life has never been the same. Purchase some packing cubes in fun patterns for your favorite stylish traveler. In my opinion you can never have too many.

Scratch Map from Awesome Maps
Your little ones might love the playmat maps from Camp Castle but what about a map for the older crowd on your gifting list? Awesome Maps makes a variety of fun scratch-off maps. There’s also tons of other options on their website so make sure you have awhile to, well–explore.
Designer Pennants from Yoho & Co.
Home design piece meets travel enthusiast souvenir, this is a travel gift guide item with meaning behind it. Yoho & Co has brought back the old-school pennant and given it new life. Choose from a variety of pennants (or smaller patches) to commemorate your travels. Even better? They are 100% handmade right here in American.
Charts from Below the Boat
Have a travel or water lover on your shopping list? Consider a laser-cut wood bathymetric chart from Below the Boat. A bathymetric chart is basically like a topographic map–only underwater. With over 100 different charts highlighting water spots worldwide there’s sure to be one that means something to your gift recipient on the list.
Luggage Tags
Even on a budget you can still give a thoughtful gift to your favorite explorer. A new set of luggage tags is always appreciated. And if you’re short on time a great assortment can be found on Amazon with Prime shipping! Luggage tags also make great Easter basket fillers for every bunny who loves to get away.
Do you have anyone in your life who loves to travel? Which gift would they like most?
Of course, if you’d rather just gift travel experiences here are some of our favorites in California!
