make your own Harry Potter Christmas Ornaments

You only need a few items to make these ornaments and they good new is that most of them are pretty inexpensive. If you don’t have the illustrated Harry Potter books those are a little pricey, but you can often find them at Costco or easily order from Amazon. Just consider them an early present to yourself! If you really don’t have access to them to make these Harry Potter ornaments you could always just use free printables you can find online to achieve a similar effect.

materials:

• wood slice ornaments
• mod podge
• Harry Potter books (to make copies)
• scissors
• paint brush

Once you’ve copied the pages you want to use (I like to have an image on one side and text on the other) then lay the wood slices on the pages and trace around with a pencil. Then trim the circle out with your scissors and adjust the cut to fit. Make sure you poke a small hole in the paper before you mod podge onto your wood slice to ensure you can find the hanging hole easier… ask me how I know.
