I was recently talking to a friend of mine who is a fellow California mom. There are lots of things happening here in the state of California regarding the public school system. These issues that are occurring are causing parents to withdraw their students and seek alternative options. My friend that I was speaking with said, “please don’t stop sharing homeschool resources, we need them”. If you’re new to homeschooling don’t feel overwhelmed! It can be such a blessing for you and for your children! One of the things I loved most about homeschool was incorporating holidays into our lessons so today I’m sharing some fun St. Patrick’s Day worksheets with you!
St. Patrick’s Day worksheets
I’ve made four St. Patrick’s Day worksheets for a variety of grade levels in elementary school. I’m a big believer in teaching at your child’s level, not “their grade” level. You know you little learner best so give them the assignments they need to thrive!
math worksheets
The math worksheets I made include a fun color by number for younger kids and an option for older kids. Older students will be able to review their multiplication facts and solve simple algebraic equations with a fun joke page.
ELA worksheets
For the ELA worksheet for younger kids I made a fun but simple alphabet puzzle. It uses both lower case and upper case letters to help enforce the differences with kids. This one is probably best for kindergarten or maybe first grade. Older kids will be able to learn a little about the history of St. Patrick and use that knowledge to complete a fun word search!
