When we went to South Carolina in December we had the coolest experience at a drive through safari park. Even though I know I don’t have a huge audience in South Carolina (yet!) I had to share it with you. If you’re ever around Salley, South Carolina where Eudora Farms is located you have to add it to your itinerary. It is definitely something that shouldn’t be missed!

I cannot tell you what an amazing experience Eudora Farms was for our family. None of us had ever been to a drive through safari before. However, I have a hard time believing that there could be one better than this! Eudora Farms features over two dozen different types of animals from nearly every continent. We drove leisurely over the three mile route through grasslands and forests. The animals are spread out over 100 beautiful acres and all seemed healthy and happy. I love that Eudora Farms cares about education and preservation–not just entertainment. We went with my parents who had been a few times and they kept commenting on how much more was added to the exhibits each time they went. It’s obvious that the people who run Eudora Farms truly care.

Disclaimer: We arrived at Eudora Farms as a large party and were planning to drive through in two vehicles. However, the worker at the front told us that we could just sit in the back of one of our vehicles to drive through together. Seeing as how the speed limit was 5 mph and it was their suggestion, that is what we decided to do. Also, their rules say you should only feed the animals from the feed buckets and not directly from your hands. Unfortunately, I didn’t see that until we were almost done with the drive through safari. We felt safe the whole time but remember that these are wild animals and I recommend following the rules of Eudora Farms and being respectful.
