Does your family love glamping? How about Yogi Bear? Last summer we stayed at Jellystone Park Hill Country during our epic summer road trip. It was only a couple of nights but we had a great time glamping in Texas Hill Country. You know our family loves the Jellystone Park location in Lodi, California. So what did we think about this one? Keep reading to find out! Our family was hosted at Jellystone Park Hill Country while we reviewed Camp Fimfo down the road. I was not asked to write this particular post and all opinions are my own.

stay at Jellystone Park Hill Country

It was fun to see all the similarities and differences between this location and the Jellystone Park we’ve stayed at in California. It helped solidify that Jellystone Park is a fun family travel brand and I feel pretty comfortable recommending any of their locations even though we’ve only been to two!

ways to stay

Our family stayed in a Hill Country Cabin, which is the same cabin type we stay in at the location in Lodi, California. It fits our family pretty well with a Queen bed, bunk beds, loft space, and sofa bed. We also love that there is a full kitchen and outside grill. It makes it so easy to prepare our meals and we have plenty of space to enjoy them either indoors, on our deck, or the picnic table outside. Other cabin sizes available range from sleeping 4 people to 16 so there is an option for everybody!

If you don’t want to stay in a cabin you also have the option to stay in an RV or tent site. You also have the option to stay at Jellystone Park in one of their Lodge Rooms which are motel rooms that sleep 6. These are located behind the Ranger Station and Indoor Pool.

things to do

There are so many fun options for things to do at this camping resort! Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Hill Country offers many of the same activities and amenities that Tower Park Resort in Lodi does. Some of my kids favorites are the waterpark, Lazer Tag, a jumping pillow, golf cart rentals, and mini golf. However, this location also offers pedal cart rentals and an indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice for those stormy Texas summers that can happen.

One of the things that my family loves most about staying at a Jellystone Park is that there is so much to do on the property. There’s really no need to ever leave during your stay! It makes for a very relaxing family vacation that our family always looks forward to. Our kids can be kids and have some screen-free fun!

Have you been to a Jellystone Park location before? They have over 75 locations throughout the US and Canada!
