We’re only a couple weeks away from General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our family loves General Conference weekend! It’s something that my kids look forward because we’re worked over the years to make it fun and memorable with snacks and fun activities. That’s why my kids were so bummed last fall when we had a family trip planned for Conference weekend. Even though I’ve created plenty of printables over the years to keep kids busy during sessions, I wanted to make something new for listening during our car ride. These little General Conference printable booklets are the perfect thing to keep kids engaged and quiet during Conference–whether you’re watching at home or on the go!
General Conference printable booklets
These printable booklets are a combination of note-taking and activities. There are spaces for notes, coloring, BINGO, and a word search. I would recommend printing up one booklet for each session of conference for older kids, while maybe just printing up one for younger kids. These are also great for switching up the Conference activities so your kids are doing different things during different sessions. This helps them not to get bored by keeping things fresh!
I printed my sheets up double-sided and then folded them together like a book. However, you could also keep the backs blank for more note-taking or doodling space!

why should we make this weekend a priority?
General Conference can be a time of growth, inspiration, and renewal. I really feel like the messages are inspired messages for us. By gathering with loved ones, taking notes, and pondering the messages shared, we can find peace and guidance in our lives.

Our kids will take their cues from us. If we make General Conference a special priority in our lives, they’ll feel the same way. By putting in some effort, I truly believe that we can help lay a life-long foundation of our kids loving General Conference and listening to the words of the Prophets.

other ideas to keep kids busy
provide plenty of snacks and treats
Snacks and General Conference go hand in hand. Provide a variety of snacks for them to choose from and let them have a mini feast during the breaks. Some healthy snack ideas include apple slices with peanut butter, string cheese, yogurt, and trail mix. If you want to go the extra mile, make some General Conference themed snacks. For example, pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate. The kids can even stick them together with marshmallows to make little temples!
building blocks for the littlest viewers
If you have extra little ones that might not be ready for note-taking yet, building blocks are perfect! They’re a great way to keep little hands busy while still allowing them to listen to the talks. It will also hopefully keep them quiet so you can listen better! Your kids can build their own temples, churches, or other structures related to General Conference. You can even give them a challenge, like building a replica of the Salt Lake Temple, or have them work together as a team on something bigger!
pull out a puzzle to keep focused
Puzzles are a fun way to keep kids engaged and focused on a task, helping to keep them quiet! You could even print out some General Conference themed pictures and make your own puzzles. Or, you could buy some faith-themed jigsaw puzzles from a church store or online.
