Our family just got back from a trip to southern California. While we were there we went to Knott’s Berry Farm and their waterpark, Soak City. We had such a blast in the parks, and the bonus was staying on-site at the Knott’s Berry Farm hotel. It was a great way to spend a fun family summer vacation, and I can’t wait to share the three things you don’t want to miss at Knott’s Berry Farm this summer! As a Knott’s Ambassador I’m here to share the latest information and my personal opinion and experiences with you. As a Get Way Today partner some links may contain affiliates.
Knott’s Berry Farm this summer: must-dos
purchase a Flavors of Summer tasting card (or two)
The Flavors of Summer tasting card is part of the festivities for Knott’s Summer Nights. We loved having the summer tasting cards to try out the unique and limited offerings around the park. There are several sweet and savory offerings, as well as various beverages to choose from. Each tasting card is $55 and gives you access to over 40 different selections. You may also purchase featured items a la carte, however, with the cost of many of the items, it is a better deal to use your tasting card. Selections at restaurants are available all day, while the popup booths open later in the day.

visit the reimagined Fiesta Village
It was so fun to experience the newly reimagined Fiesta Village! I just love the new life that was breathed into the area. It is such a treat to walk through that section of the park and see all the vibrant new décor and merchandise. We also enjoyed all the music throughout different sections of Fiesta Village. It seems like everywhere you go, there is another song being played or sung. This summer you can also see a small fireworks display being shot from the Jaguar Temple throughout the evening festivities.
take a dip in Knott’s own Soak City Waterpark
If you’re looking for the best way to cool off at Knott’s Berry Farm this summer, look no further than right next door! Mike and I hadn’t been to Soak City Waterpark in years and it was so much fun to go back with the kids. We love waterparks and have been to several over the years. The Sunset River lazy river is just over 1⁄3 mile and is one of the best we’ve ever been to! And although you can rent tubes, you don’t have to as tubes are available at every tube ride and in the lazy river for your enjoyment. You can bring your own coastguard-approved lifejacket, or you can use one of the many available throughout the waterpark.
